Lee Talmage

Founder Lee Talmage began his journey almost 20 years ago, and found his passion and career working in both Law Enforcement and as a Private Contractor. Lee finished as the Sargent of the K-9 Unit, he also worked on the SWAT Team, and was on the Drug Interdiction Team. He then transitioned overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Government Contractor for the Department of Defense, and for the Department of State as  K-9 Handler/Trainer running missions for protection and detection for explosives, as well training military and special forces K-9 teams.

During the duration of his career serving, Lee took pride in helping others and saving lives while working his K-9's, whether it was looking for narcotics in the States or sweeping for explosives overseas, he knew it made a difference! At that time, Lee completed numerous missions and finds, along with training hundreds of teams with their dogs, making his and their environment safer. This became his driving force to always be better and train harder.

It was his drive, desire, and dedication that he built Leash & Beyond K9 Solutions, so he could help more owners and their dogs in finding that perfect chemistry and bond together.
